Sierra Avalanche Center

The Sierra Avalanche Center provides educational and safety programs to support safe winter recreation. They work with a team of avalanche forecasters to create and issue avalanche advisories and avalanche warnings in the Lake Tahoe area. We provide ongoing support for their Drupal-based website, where we implemented the shared National Avalanche Center forecasting tools to provide an interactive map displaying current avalanche conditions. We also developed and support their Avalanche Forecasts mobile app.
