Observatory for the Protection of Human Rights Defenders

The Observatory for the Protection of Human Rights Defenders, a partnership between the International Federation for Human Rights (FIDH) and the World Organisation Against Torture (OMCT), works to ensure effective protection and support to individuals who are exposed to harassment as a result of their peaceful human rights activities. They provide early warnings on dangerous situations, raise awareness among policy makers and the general public, build the capacity of human rights defenders, provide direct assistance, and support local groups to enable them to continue their action in hostile environments. We built their new WordPress-based site and provide ongoing data visualization and site maintenance and support.
